Inflatable Truck Bed, Open house is about fire prevention, saving lives-Fire Department Spring Lake Township is organizing an annual vacations every Thursday at 6.00. at 20:00 at Mill Point Park. Firefighters, police and first aid equipment are there with their vehicles, but this year there is no firefighter.
The event also includes hot dogs, potatoes and free drinks, fire training, pug and fire extinguishers, and teaching presentations.
“This year, attention is paid to the importance of closing the doors,” says Captain Brian Sipe. “If you try to sleep at night, close the door so that smoke can not enter the room if you keep the door open and you sleep, there is smoke and you suddenly have carbon monoxide and toxic gases and you should never wake up again

Closed doors also provide valuable time.
“If there is a big fire and the doors are closed, you have time to go through the window and get out,” Sipe said. “Carving is a big picture for people, so I think it’s a good thing.”
Grand Haven Township is also present with a guided fire hose that teaches you how to make room and meeting places, kitchen safety,
The smoke detector detects smoke detector ignition and smoke removal.
“There is also an extinguisher so people can learn to use a fire extinguisher,” Sipe said.
Sipe said that the open house was a great opportunity for residents to meet the people they serve. However, the main task of the open house is to save the spirit, especially in Michigan, one of the countries suffering from the disaster.
“If we can provide information and learn to protect and save young and old, it’s huge,” said the boss. “If we can teach people things they can do to prevent fires, we hope to reduce them.”
The Spring Lake Association also implements a smoke alarm installation program.
“When people need smoke detectors, we have the process of installing them for them,” Sipe said. “We will review the security screen and answer all your questions.”
Brandweek 7.-13. October
This year, the campaign for firefighting “Looking, listening, learning, knowing, fire can come everywhere”. We work on training people in three basic stages, but they are necessary to reduce the risk of fire and how to ensure:
Find places where a fire may start. You’re okay at home. Identify and care for potential fire hazards.
Listen to the smoke detector sound. Only a few minutes can safely get rid of when the alarm goes off. Go to the meeting place, safe distance from home and where everyone needs to know to meet.
Find two ways to get out of each room and make sure all the doors and windows that open outdoors are easy to open and not backwards.
Other opening hours are also planned for the area.
